GOD
We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes, and purpose.
(I Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6; II Corinthians 5:19)
JESUS
We believe that, "in Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily," God manifest in flesh, God in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.
(Colossians 2:9; II Corinthians 5:19, John 1:1, 14)
THE BIBLEWe believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is infallible, inerrant, and the sole and final authority for all matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.
(2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16)
MANKINDWe believe that man is a created being, made in the image and likeness of God. Through man's transgression and fall, sin entered the world; thus, depriving man to attain divine righteousness.
(Genesis 1:26; Romans 3:23-24)
MARRIAGEWe believe marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one biological man and one biological woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. The church may decline to solemnize or host a marriage ceremony that is contrary to the church's belief statements or the Bible.
(Genesis 2:18, 21-24; Proverbs 18:22; Hebrews 13:4)
FAITHWe believe faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Without faith it is impossible to please God, and our faith should continually increase as we grow in spiritual understanding of the Word of God.
(Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:6; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 5:1; Romans 1:16,17; 1 John 5:1-5)HEALING
We believe in divine healing for all the ills of the human body, wrought by the power of God through the anointing of oil, the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. Divine healing is freely and fully provided through the work of the Cross and is available to every member of the Body of Christ today.
(Psalm 103:1-5; Isaiah 53:1-5; Matthew 9:35; Mark 16:15-18; James 5:14,15)HOLY COMMUNIONWe believe in Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper, consisting of bread and a cup of the fruit of the vine. This serves as a memorial of Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection.
(1 Corinthians 11:23-24; Mark 14:22-24)
WATER BAPTISM
We Believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as commanded in the Scriptures. This ordinance symbolizes the believer's identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:37-39; 8:36-39; Romans 6:1-10; Colossians 2:1-10)
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST
We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost and fire as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation, with the scriptural evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Holy Ghost gives them the utterance.
(Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49; St. John 14:16,17; Acts 1:8; 2:1-39; 8:14-17; 10:44-48; 19:1-7)TITHINGWe believe tithing is a commandment and God's financial plan for protection, provision and prosperity.
(Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38; 1 Corinthians 9:3-14)
GIVINGThe giving of tithes and offerings is a commandment from God's Word. Those who withhold their tithes and offerings are robbing God. God will rebuke the destroyer on behalf of the obedient tither and giver by opening up the windows of Heaven and pouring out His BLESSING. God delights to respond to giving with gracious and abundant provision.
(Malachi 3:8-12; Proverbs 3:9-10; Deuteronomy 8:18; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
THE SECOND COMING
The angels said to Jesus' disciples, " ... this same Jesus, Who was taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner, as you have seen Him go into Heaven." Jesus' coming is imminent. When He comes, " ... the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord Jesus Christ in the air."
(Matthew 24:27-30; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 8:23; 11:26,27; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; Titus 2:13; Revelation 1:7; 19:11-14; 20:1-6; Zephaniah 3:19,20; Isaiah 11:6-9; Micah 4:1-4)
